The purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness hybrid maize farming in Muna Barat Regency. Data collection carried out May - July 2021. population were all 415 corn farmers Determination sample is done by using cluster random sampling method, where grouped region, then selected randomly. number samples Slovin formula so that obtained 64 people. data collected includes: use tradable inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, fuels, production machinery) and non-tradable (land area, seeds, labor equipment) outputs (production selling prices). technique used an interview a questionnaire or question guide. Analysis Policy Matrix (PAM). results show West Regency has competitive advantage, both based on indicators advantage with PCR value 0.29; comparative DRCR 0.07.Keywords: competitiveness; corn; (PAM)
